HEAT (Harlingen Empowered Advocacy Team) PRESIDENT
"IT'S TIME TO GO BEYOND POLITICS AND WORK TOGETHER TO CREATE THOUSANDS OF NEW JOBS FOR THE VALLEY, WE MUST ACT NOW," SAYS JOE RUBIO, CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT AND CEO OF THE HARLINGEN HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE!

Chuck Lee says,
"Joe Rubio is the right candidate at the right time for the position. He knows what needs to be done to bring jobs to the hispanic community. He has the contacts at the city, county, state, and federal level to pull all the various agencies together to get the job done. It's not about Republican or Democrat, it's about jobs, period! Joe wants to create jobs for the Harlingen area, that's the bottom line, that's what really counts, everything else is just blowing smoke. Joe realizes it's the economy, it's money in your pocket on a Friday night, it's paying your bills, it's having a future to look forward to."

This has got to be some kind of joke. But if not, I will join in the endorsement of Joe Rubio for Hispanic Chamber CEO, as this would insure the demise of the organization ... which will greatly improve conditions in Harlingen! This would be good for everyone to be sure!
To be honest with you??? Rubio couldn't do any worse than Lopez??? Lopez proved that he could not get the EDC, Chamber of Commerce or any of the other development organizations or committee's to take care of the little guy much less the Hispanic owners in Harlingen??? Forget what Rubio has done in the past and give him the opportunity to prove himself??? Or, is someone scared out there that he might be able to pull it off??? Or, let him prove that he can't and the "haters" can have a field day after that???
