Tamaulipas, Mexico: Important Capture of a Brutal Zeta Cartel Leader, "El Ricky"

Sunday June 15, 2014, the Mexican Navy and Army apprehended Ricardo Enrique Santillan Trejo, aka "El Ricky". 

Santillan is responsible for hundreds of deaths, kidnappings, mass graves, extortion and disappearances.  

Allegedly, he is responsible for the kidnapping of truck drivers, then  boiling or incinerating the bodies. 

Santillan was arrested in Colonia Independencia, (Mante).  .Mexican armed forces led the operation that evolved into a shootout and ended with the capture. 

Santillan, who also used the monikers; "Comandante Mante, and El Rikis, was the Mante Plaza chief overseeing, Mante, Gomez Farias ( El Cielo), and El Limón.  Along with Santillan Cesar Ruiz Torres alias "la chica" was arrested.
