A MAJOR CONFLICT OF INTEREST!

VIEW: Former Harlingen police chief eyes two city positions 

Danny Castillo wants to serve Harlingen, this time as a city commissioner. He also wants to serve the city of Santa Rosa as city manager as well.  Most cities demand that its city manager live within the city limits of the city they serve.  How can Castillo live in Santa Rosa and also live inside District 1 of Harlingen?  He can't!  Therefore, he should immediately withdraw from the race for District 1 Commissioner!  We need a FULL-TIME Harlingen resident representing the interests of Harlingen on the Harlingen City Commission, not dividing his loyalties between Santa Rosa and Harlingen!  We are being betrayed!
