ANALYSIS: This is exactly what Mao’s, Stalin’s and Pol Pot’s Communist reeducation camps were like. You had to repeat everything the leader was saying to break down the individual so the individual becomes part of the collective. It’s a brainwashing technique. America is supposed to be about individualism, liberty, independent thinking. This is the opposite of that.

This is also how Hitler convinced regular law-abiding people to do horrible things — such as murder 6,000,000 Jews. Get people to repeat the party line often enough, and pretty soon they’ll believe anything.

By the way, the leader in this video kept saying consensus would govern the proceedings. The consensus appeared to be the crowd wanted to hear from Congressman John Lewis. But the leader of this group wanted to show he had more power than Lewis, so declared his own view as the consensus.

This is also how tyrants work. They declare their own view as “the will of the people,” even when it’s not.

Plus, we don’t believe in mob rule in this country. We have a representative Constitutional democracy with all kinds of checks and balances against the kind of mob rule we see here. We have a Bill of Rights and all kinds of procedures and processes for getting things done in a careful deliberative manner that prevents mob rule.

By the way, there’s no such thing as a conservative mob or a pro-freedom mob — just leftist mobs.

Mob-led revolutions always produce tyrannies — like Robespierre in France, who was then followed by Napoleon; or Lenin in Russia — unlike the orderly rebellion led by George Washington and the Continental Congress here in America.

The Continental Congress in America in 1776 was not a mob. It was an alternative government, led by statesman who were the delegates. The Continental Congress had rules and procedures for making decisions governing the Continental Army and emerging new nation.

The American Revolution was led by statesman of learning and substance who wanted to build something, not tear something down.

This mob we see in the video is about tearing down the American system.  These people have no solution, no plan, no vision for what they even want.  If you asked them what they are for, they could not give you an answer. They might mumble something about student loans they don’t think they should have to pay back.  But these heads-full-of-mush provide a great opening for an opportunistic charismatic leader to seize power and lead these zombies around by the nose.

Isn’t that essentially what Barack Obama did in 2008 with the Obama Girl and his mindless “hope and change” mantra that could mean whatever you want it to mean?
