Like a real hummingbird, the Pentagon's newest spy drone can fly up and down, side to side, and forward and backward. In fact, in a new video released this week by the company that produces it, the tiny drone looks and flies a lot like a real hummingbird as it buzzes over an operator outside. Meet the military's newest unmanned aerial vehicle, a camera-equipped drone known simply as a nano hummingbird. The drone, which for now is just a research project, recently demonstrated eight minutes of sustained flight.
