We have in our possession the original Harlingen Police Department Case Report number 20111-00002144, dated 01/13/2011. The reporting officer was an R. Flores badge number 3170. A couple of inconsistencies show up in the official report.
- The address where the criminal mischief (vandalism) supposedly occurred was noted in the report as 6000 Throckmorton, Harlingen, Texas. If you Google map it or MapQuest that address, you will find that it does not exist.
- The estimated damaged to the vehicle was $1000.00.
- There were no witnesses to the incident.
- The victim (Ms. Marra) tells the officer, "she doesn't know who would do this damage to her vehicle."
We then fast forward two days to the January 13, 2010 edition of the Valley Morning Star. In that brief article about the incident we find some information which is at odds with the police report.
- The commissioner said she did not know if the act was related to her critical comments on the removal of Police Chief Danny Castillo from his post Monday.
- Marra was the only city commissioner to express support for Castillo.
Now, which is it? Was the vandalism a random act as she first reported, or was it a coordinated attack by those who want to get even with her for backing Chief Castillo? Is this just political spin to help a comrade in trouble? Is this pure grandstanding? Why is that address non-existent? Is there more than meets the eye?
Other questions about this case have arisen and will be discussed as the information unfolds before our very eyes. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode!

What does all this mean? Is the commission going to hell? Why can't we get some quality leadership instead of these damaged goods?
Was that picture of Kori taken before or after her supposed week of rehab in the east coast this past summer? Cause if it's after....... Well, enough said.
The Chicken Genius.
I still think she looks better in this picture.

Filing a false report is a criminal offense. I hope the police officer was being truthful, if not he can be in problems, oh, I forgot we are dealing with Harlingen Police dept.
If I was in Denmark I would say something smells rotten. But then again we are in the RGV.
