Crowds of “Black Lives Matter” thug rioters chanted “black power” as they targeted white individuals for violence in Milwaukee late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, according to video posted online in the aftermath of a police shooting.“Yeah they white!” states someone else, prompting the mob to run towards the vehicle.
“Yeah they white, get their ass!” screams another.
“Hey they beatin’ up every white person!” exclaims another rioter.
“He white – beat his head – bitch!” he adds.
The nighttime footage appears to show cars being attacked by the mob, even to the point of trying to drag out the drivers.
The video jumps to an upper floor window when the person recording the video states, “I think they just beat some white bitch ass for no reason – they bust open the window.”
The Drudge Report ran the headline: “Whites hunted for beatdowns! Milwaukee’s night of shame.”
Reactions online include syndicated columnist Ben Shapiro, who tweeted: “We have reached the point of insanity when police shoot an armed suspect, we have no other facts yet, and riots ensue anyway.”
Talk-radio host Dan O’Donnell of WISN tweeted: “Friday: 5 people murdered in #Milwaukee. Yawn. Saturday: Armed suspect with stolen gun refuses orders to drop it, cop shoots him. RIOTS!!!”
Popular commentator Milo Yiannopolous said: “Democrats call Conservatives crazy and dangerous, then light gas stations on fire and beat white people for their skin color.”
“This #BlackPower movement is a disgrace to the black community, as exemplified in #Milwaukee,” he added.
Author Dan Gainor tweeted: “U.S. media have done everything they can to incite nationwide rioting and blame cops at every turn.”
The violence erupted just hours after a Milwaukee police officer shot and killed an armed suspect with a “lengthy criminal record” who was carrying an illegal firearm that had been used in a burglary.
The officer who fatally shot the suspect is black, sources told the Journal Sentinel.
Numerous fires were set throughout Saturday night, including to local businesses and a gas station, as well as police cars.
The Journal Sentinel reported the crowd turned on and chased reporters and a photographer from the newspaper, and that one reporter “was shoved to the ground and punched.”
Gov. Scott Walker activated the National Guard on Sunday after a request from Sheriff David Clarke to help calm any further unrest.
Mayor Tom Barrett said some of participants in the mayhem encouraged others via social media to join in the disturbance.
He pleaded with parents to rein in their children.
“Our police officers are doing everything they can to restore order,” he said. “If you love your son, if you love your daughter, text them, call them, pull them by their ears, get them home.”

A news conference was held featuring local Aldermen Russell W. Stamper II and Khalif Rainey, who lamented the state of affairs with black Milwaukeeans.
Rainey called the region of the shooting a “powder keg,” implying that downtown could be the site of more violence if issues facing African-Americans were not addressed.
“This entire community has sat back and witnessed how Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has become the worst place to live for African-Americans in the entire country,” Rainey said. “Now this is a warning cry. Where do we go from here? Where do we go as a community from here?
“Do we continue – continue with the inequities, the injustice, the unemployment, the under-education, that creates these byproducts that we see this evening? … The black people of Milwaukee are tired. They’re tired of living under this oppression. This is their existence. This is their life. This is the life of their children.
“Now what has happened tonight may have not been right; I’m not justifying that. But no one can deny the fact that there’s problems, racial problems, here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that have to be closely, not examined, but rectified. Rectify this immediately. Because if you don’t, this vision of downtown, all of that, you’re one day away. You’re one day away.”
