The House approved President Obama’s plan to arm so called “moderate Syrian rebels” Wednesday despite countless examples of the group’s allegiance to ISIS.

The bill is expected to pass the Senate Thursday, cementing the President’s plan to bring down the Assad government with US-backed radical jihadists.

Despite arguments between Republicans and Democrats on the bill’s minor details, the legislation passed 273-156.
