The incident took place in the provincial capital, Jalalabad, where the education faculty had been hit by a motorcycle laden explosives explosion, wounding five people.

Coalition officials strongly deny the allegation, the latest disagreement between the Karzai government and U.S. military leaders.

12/01/13 KUNA: Violence claims 11 lives S. Afghanistan At least 11 people were killed including five civilians and a policeman in separate violent incidents in Afghanistan's southern Helmand province, said officials on Sunday. The spokesman for province Omar Zwak in a press statement told that five civilians, including a child have been killed when a tractor they were riding struck a roadside bomb in the Musa Qala district. He further told that the incident took place in Kando area, eight kilometers from the district, where militants planted mines along all the routes.
