09/10/12 AFP: Explosions kill at least 21 in Afghanistan A suicide bomber tore through a crowd of Afghan demonstrators on Monday, killing 21 people in the northern city of Kunduz, a hospital doctor said, amid fears that the toll could rise further. Meanwhile, a car bomb targeting security forces in Parachinar town of Kurram tribal district, Pakistan, killed 12 civilians and wounded more than 40, officials said.

09/10/12 KP: 4 NATO soldiers injured following blast in E. Afghanistan According to local authorities in eastern Laghman province of Afghanistan, at least four NATO-led International Security Assistance Force service members were injured following an improvised explosive device blast. The officials further added the incident took place late Sunday night in Mohammad Ali Khas area of Qarghai district after an explosive device planted under a bridge went off while a NATO troops vehicle was crossing the area.

09/08/12 ToloNews: Two Killed, 15 Injured in Violent Clash in Kabul on Massoud Holiday At least two people including a policeman were killed and 15 other policemen were injured in heavy fighting in the Pul-e-Sukhta area in Kabul city's west on Saturday morning. Clashes broke out between two groups when a convoy of Ahmad Shah Massoud supporters drove through the area, according to witnesses. The number of civilians injured have not been confirmed, but officials say "dozens" were hurt in the fighting.
