The Public Security Ministry of Guerrero, confirmed yesterday that two male corpses had been found in the municipality of Tepecuacuilco. These two men were handcuffed and then severely tortured. Sometime during their ordeal they each had their faces cut off and removed from the neck up. The bodies were taken to the local amphitheater by the Medical Examiner, both of them have been identified. One is Lazaro Estrada Cruz, 49 years old. His family said that he had been missing since June 1, 2011. While the other was identified as Prisciliano Méndez Aguilar , 30, he was an agent of the Ministerial Investigative Police of Guerrero, and then a member of the La Familia Michoacana Drug Cartel.
A videotape of Aguilar being held captive in an unknown location, shirtless, his hands tied behind his back, also on his face you can see some adhesive tape.
In the less than 2 minute recording Prisciliano Aguilar gives notice to several officials, that they too will be captured, tortured, and murdered as he was.
