“A Prayer For Searching The Heart”

Praying man
Father, today I search my own heart and ask, Am I ashamed to bear Your name?  Do I really know You in whom I believe? Do I fully believe that You are able to keep that which I have committed to You until that appointed day?  Reveal to me that which needs my attention so that I gain full confidence in you, Christ Jesus my Lord, for here and now, and for that future date when You return to earth or I meet You through death. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.  Amen.
