The HCLC held their most recent meeting today, Tuesday, February 22, 11:30 AM.at the Catered Affair Event Center in downtown Harlingen. Those gathering were met at the entrance by an armed City of Harlingen uniformed police officer. On the front door of the building was a posted statement (seen above) which lets all those trying to enter know that it was a "Private Meeting" only for members and invited guests. Once inside the building, attendee's credentials were once again checked before final entrance to the meeting was granted. The meeting was well attended by many of Harlingen's most powerful movers and shakers. Some of the attendees included: Bobby Farris, Tudor Uhlhorn, Foster Little, Jo Rae Wagner, Curtis Bonner, Bill DeBrooke, Bill Godwin, Mrs. Connie De La Garza and her daughter, Lupe Gonzalez, Stephen Aune, Gene McCullough, Harry Roberts, Tip Johnson, Lorrayne Woolem, and others. The gathering lasted approximately 90 minutes. The food menu and discussion items were top secret.

They probably kept out the hysterical and rationally challenged people - like Yolanda Shoefit and Ronald McDonald Lozano, and who can blame them.
It is better to only open the party to thieves and prejudice individuals. On the other hand with out excluding anyone the HEAT guys will be putting together more and more affidavits consisting of conflicts of interest and just all kinds of goodies. I too would try to keep all secretes very quite.
Never in their lives did they think all of their open shenanigans would come back and bite them n the ass. Most of the crimes are state crimes and so guess where they will be in jail? Yes the state jails with the Texas Syndicate and other such organizations.
How ever the next investigation is going to have to do with the designation of the three
Tax Increment Financing Zones. Who designated them? Have any been used to enrich any of the Commissioners who designated the zones? Now since they have been caught no one gets to take advantage of the TIF which was originally to help increase the tax bases of the city. Well only one of the commissioners and since so many have been caught, the DA has no choice but to prosecute them all.
If anyone checks with San Antonio they have increased the tax base of San Antonio without having to annex. Millions of dollars while these our small thinking boyz are stealing nickels and dimes.

Yep, some of those names associated with or members of this HCLC are the ones who made or making money from the City and the ones responsible for the way things are in Harlingen. No wonder they had a closed meeting and guarded by an HPD officer. I guess I would close it also knowing that convicted felon and "lard ass" Yolanda might crash? I still don't understand why she is allowed to speak at the commission meetings? She live in La Feria and owning property doesn't quite give you the right? That's how I see it?
