THE GREAT CONDESCENDOR, USED CAR SALESMAN, AND MAYOR, CHRIS BOSWELL, CALLS THE U.S. CENSUS BUREAU AND ITS FOUNDER, THOMAS JEFFERSON, CHIEF ADMINISTRATOR OF THE FIRST CENSUS IN 1790, A LIAR!
- “We’ve always been undercounted,” Boswell said. “I definitely believe Harlingen’s population is undercounted.”
- The city is using figures from the Texas State Data Center/State Demographer’s Office, which Boswell claims are based on more recent and accurate information.
- “I think the state demographer’s office is a better indicator of our actual population,” Boswell said.
- It has long been known that Harlingen, Cameron County and the entire Rio Grande Valley have been undercounted by the U.S. Census, Boswell said.
- U.S. Census data show Harlingen as having 25,585 housing units, 21,645 of those occupied and 3,940 of them vacant. “Now, how would they know that?” Boswell asked.

Texas wasn't even a state when Jefferson administered the first census. So your head line is a lie!
